Get Increased Traffic Using Offline Means

Some people think that getting increased traffic to their website can only be done by using online methods. However, there are only so many message boards you can post on and SEO strategies you can use to make your website super attractive online. What you might not immediately think of, however, is using offline methods to get increased traffic.

It’s very easy to get increased traffic to your website if that website is the online component of a brick and mortar business. All you have to do is include your website address on your fliers, sales papers, and all promotional items. You can even have it printed on your paper sacks, price tags, and some cash registers can even print your website address on the receipt. Occasionally giving away promotional materials like pens, pencils, notepads, or bookmarks with the site address is another great way of getting increased traffic. What’s great about many of these methods, such as printing the address on your sacks or receipts, is that it doesn’t really cost that much.

However, if you don’t own a brick and mortar store, there are still ways you can get increased traffic to your website. For starters, you can list your website address on your business cards. You might also want to put it on your official business letterhead and even on your company envelopes. If you’re willing to go the extra mile, you can even order a magnetic sign advertising your company and your website and attach it to the side of your car. This type of advertising is becoming more and more popular.

Of course, perhaps the best form of offline advertising is word of mouth. Talk to people about your website and what you offer. Once you get them interested, chances are they’ll pass your website address on to their friends, and before you know it, you’ll see increased traffic to your website.
